Willie, our heroine, wanted nothing more than a few minutes watching the waters of Lake Erie after a long workday. What she ended up with was a drugged male vampire and an itch to be a Good Samaritan. When her inner kitty starts sniffing around at the male she’s helping she knows Fate’s evil sense of humor was in full swing. Being a shifter-vampire hybrid was hard enough, but having a male vampire as her fated mate was just too much. Nickola, the vampire she assists, finds her breathtaking and does all he can to push Fate’s agenda. Stephen is the male vampire Nickola is investigating for the Council. He takes aim at the couple, intent on pulling Nick to his side or killing him. Between Stephen’s scheming and the Council’s interest in Willie can they survive the chaos long enough to test the depths of their passions?

Willie is a wonderful character and one not to be missed. It’s not every day you get to read about a heroine that’s half vampire and shifter. Both halves has their strengths and weakness and Willie does her best to keep both halves satisfied, but when her cat becomes obsessed with a vampire it takes all of her strength to control that wild side that wants out to play with a vampire hottie.
This is a hot romance with lots of action and danger and I loved how it all ended. I highly recommend this erotic paranormal romance.

5 of 5 Stars: Willie is a strong, independent female who just happens to be 1/2 vampire 1/2 shifter (cat). She is full of spunk and is perfectly capable of surviving on her own. She can defend herself, and is a loner by nature. She also has a good heart, so when she runs into the drugged vampire in an alley she feels inclined to do the right thing and help him out. This leads into a suspenseful tale of trying to help this vampire, while still trying to keep herself untangled and free from attachments.
